I just followed the below steps step 1: I've got a xampp installation (apache, mysql, php, phpmyadmin) on a windows 10 machine, in d:\\xampp, which i've been using for at least 3 months without any issues. Moved (cut/paste) all the files in c:\xampp\mysql\data to desired backup location.
